The Skid steer Disc Mulcher features an 1220, 1520 or 1650mm diameter 25mm thick disc, with 39, 4 pointed cutting teeth on the 1650.
The shear size and weight of this disc, spinning at over 1000rpm induces a ‘fly wheel’ effect on the cutting head, ensuring the least possible amount of rpm loss even in the heaviest of work loads.
With a bent axis, piston motor to drive the disc, a heavy duty high quality steel drive shaft with 2 wide spaced taper bearings in a full oil bath housing and a sacrificial coupler to protect the drive shaft and motor, these machines are designed to work hard in the toughest environments
